YC expects that soon every employee at every company will build their own agents to handle the repetitive parts of their job. It wants to fund the infrastructure they'll use: internal agent builders.
What it takes: an agent builder has to connect to every other piece of software a person uses day to day, manage permissions, and send sensitive data securely to the latest LLMs.
Proof it works: YC built its own version and already uses it to cut time spent on everything from reviewing term sheets to repetitive accounting workflows.
The ask: foundational infrastructure for AI-native companies.
