The author of this request drives 20 minutes to work every day and wishes that time could go to triaging email, drafting replies and delegating scheduling, by voice, so they arrive already at Inbox Zero.
Why now: tools like Vapi, Retell and ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode show how good voice agents have become. The uses go well beyond driving; the author says nerve damage in their arms showed how much we still rely on keyboards for basic tasks.
Why email: YC sees the inbox as possibly the best starting point for an all-purpose assistant, since it reveals a person's friends, plans and writing style.
