Elevator Pitch
Salesforce and ServiceNow were founded 25 years ago and rode cloud to $200B+ market caps. AI presents the same once-in-a-generation platform shift. Build the enterprise software where AI isn't a feature—it's the foundation. Think Cursor for sales, HR, and finance.
Full Description
Salesforce and ServiceNow each generate over $10B annually with market caps exceeding $200B. Both were founded around 25 years ago. This isn't coincidence—they rode the cloud computing wave.
The Pattern: Every major platform shift creates the opportunity to rebuild enterprise software from first principles:
- •Mainframe → Client-server: Oracle, SAP
- •Client-server → Cloud: Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow
- •Cloud → AI-native: ???
Why Incumbents Will Struggle: Salesforce can't become AI-native any more than Oracle could become cloud-native. Their architecture, their business model, their customer base—everything is optimized for the old paradigm. They'll add AI features, but they can't rebuild the foundation.
What AI-Native Enterprise Software Looks Like: Today's enterprise software is a "system of record"—it stores data and lets humans interact with it. AI-native enterprise software is a "system of action"—it uses AI to actually do the work.
Imagine Salesforce rebuilt for AI:
- •AI that researches prospects, writes outreach, and schedules meetings—not just tracks them
- •A CRM that automatically updates itself based on email and call transcripts
- •Forecasting that's actually accurate because AI processes every signal
The Opportunity: Every category of enterprise software will be rebuilt around AI: CRM, HR, finance, IT service management, procurement, customer success. Each is a multi-billion dollar opportunity. The next Salesforce is being founded right now.
