About This Fellowship

The Google.org Impact Challenge: AI for Government Innovation is a $30 million global initiative designed to help governments and their partners use AI to improve public services and create more responsive, efficient governance.

The program recognizes that governments serve billions of people but often lack the technical capacity and resources to adopt AI responsibly.

This challenge specifically targets the intersection of AI and public sector innovation, supporting both government agencies and the nonprofits and civic tech organizations that work alongside them to modernize public services.
