"Small software" means purpose-built tools with one or a handful of users: team workflows, dashboards, sprint tools, prototypes. Agents make it easy to build, but deploying and sharing it is still hard.
The gap: AWS and Azure were designed for big software that scales to many users, at the cost of complexity. A cloud designed for small software could remove most of that complexity.
Hard problems to solve:
- •Letting each company customize the environment the software runs in
- •Auth and permissions
- •Letting non-technical users share arbitrary code securely
