Full Description
The first wave of AI companies helped businesses and individuals fill in forms and online applications with new speed and accuracy. Many of those forms end up with local, state and federal government, where YC says they're printed out and processed by hand.
Why now: government needs AI tools to cope with the large increase that's coming. YC adds that this would also make government more cost-effective and responsive, spreading the kind of digital government hinted at in places like Estonia.
The hard part: selling to government is extremely hard. But YC notes that once you land the first customer, government customers tend to be very sticky and can grow into huge contracts.
