Elevator Pitch
Coding agents could let every user reshape the software they use, the way forward-deployed engineers customize enterprise tools. YC wants the new delivery stack that makes this possible.

Full Description
Software has always shipped one interface to everyone, with light theming at most, while large enterprise customers get forward-deployed engineers to tailor it. YC thinks coding agents are now good enough for users to act as their own forward-deployed engineers: one person's email client might look like a task list and another's like an events calendar, both built on shared primitives.
Open questions: how developers make software accessible to users' coding agents, whether they ship source code instead of packaged binaries, and how far users can change things beyond the front end.
