Full Description
The US government spends over $100 billion a year on consulting, which YC says isn't the most efficient or innovative part of the economy. YC gives several reasons that will change: political pressure to cut wasteful consulting and spending; government software that is usually custom-built by consultants and could be much better; and LLMs that can already do the jobs of many consulting firms.
What YC has funded: companies that help businesses get FedRAMP approval to sell to government, and companies that use LLMs to help government cut regulation and check that new laws and policies are actually legal.
The ask: LLM software that takes on more of the work consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture do for government.
