Full Description
Agents already browse the web, do research, make purchases and manage CRMs, but on software built for humans clicking through a browser, which makes them slow and fragile. They need machine-readable interfaces such as APIs, MCPs and CLIs, plus thorough documentation, so they can discover, sign up for and use tools with no human in the loop.
The ask: rebuild each major software category for agents as first-class users. YC expects this to come from startups rather than incumbents bolting on agent support.
