Full Description
Previous generations of robots were expensive, brittle and only worked in controlled conditions. YC argues that rapid improvements in foundation models now make robots with human-level perception and judgment possible, which was the missing piece, and that robotics' ChatGPT moment is almost here.
Where it applies: YC sees B2B uses as some of the most overlooked and immediately addressable, such as industrial inspection robots like Gecko Robotics and autonomous tractors like Bear Flag Robotics, which John Deere acquired.
The ask: software tools that help others make robots.
