The Basis Fellowship gives $50,000 with no strings attached, in a roughly ten-minute application. It is run by Mark Khrapko, Spencer Green and Steven Pang, and funded personally and through Orbit. Applications are always open and fellows are named on a rolling basis, with the first cohort in 2026. Applications that miss the cohort can still get $3,000 at the organizers' discretion, and a nominator gets $1,000 if their nominee is chosen.
